Happy Deepavali

I would like to take this chance to wish everyone I know Happy Deepavali. This year has been a great year for me. I would like to wish everyone in making this year a success for me. I have been really busy lately but i will never forget all of you guys who have helped me no matter what. Let us share and care in this festival of light.

Mom and sister - For the person who have been there when ever i was in needed and for showing unconditional love and care since i was born till today.

Girlfriend - For being the most understanding person i have ever know and for always supporting me in whatever i do. If there is anyone who knows me the most after my family it will be her. And not to forget for showing unconditional love and care.

School friends - The best friends anyone can ask for. For those time we have spend together. Most of them i classify as - A friend indeed is a friend indeed.

University friends- You guy's made me a better person from who I was. Made me realize a lot of things about myself and i have got a lot of experience because of you guys.

Petronas Deepavali Advertisement. (Old and New from 1997 - 2008)

This Petronas advertisement for the year 1997 & 1999. One of the guy in the clip was a friend of mine ;).He told me they took over 13hours to do the 1min add. They poured the oil on his head over 20 times until they got the right shot.

The world is changing but we Malaysian will be always be proud of who we are.

This is the latest advertisement by Petronas. Petnonas has created a very touching advertisement AGAIN!!!. I was actually nearly in tear's the first time i saw it as it reminds me a lot of my dad. If only he is alive now.

Eurocopter scandal

Another scandal appears to be hovering over the Defence Ministry and this time it concerns the purchase of helicopters to replace the armed forces' aging and accident-prone fleet of Nuri aircraft.

Mentari Services Sdn Bhd chairperson Capt (rtd) Zahar Hashim said the government could have purchased same number of helicopters and save almost RM1.5 billion.

"(With) the price offered by Eurocopter for 12 units of Cougar EC-725 worth (an estimated of) RM2.3I7 billion, the government could purchase 30 Kazan-M172 (from Kelowna Flightcraft Ltd) which fulfills almost all the specifications required by the armed forces," he said.

"He believe that Najib had provided Abdullah with an inaccurate report.

Petrol and Diesel prices down....

Effective midnight tonight, pump prices of petrol RON97 would be lowered by 15 sen to RM2.30 per litre. RON92 will be reduced by 10 sen to RM2.20 per litre, whle diesel will be lowered by 20 sen to RM2.20 per litre.

Our petrol price is dependent on two factors - the price of crude oil itself and the exchange rate between USD and MYR. The crude oil price has dropped as low as US$77.98 but unfortunately
1 USD = 3.49423 MYR . By my calculations if the government would have peg the Ringgit when it was RM3.15 per 1US$. We could enjoy the price of RM1.92 actually even lower.

I wonder how will be the response from DATUK Shah Rukh Khan. Where is Malacca and how did I become a grandfather (DATUK)??
