Tamil Rasi Palan 2009

My post on Horoscope 2009 was my biggest hit so far therefore I decided to post something similar in Tamil which is entitled Tamil Raasi Palan 2009. Tamil Raasi Palan is a based Tamil Horoscope according to the earth signs. It has the same symbols as the Modern English Horoscope. Even though they share the same symbols and common name but it doesent mean if you are a Leo according to the English Horoscope it means that you are a Simmam for Tamil Horoscope. As for an example as my English Horoscope is Leo (சிம்மம்) and my Tamil Horoscope is விருச்சிகம (Scorpio)

Toll Price Increase Again March 2009

Toll price will increase this Sunday (March 1) Reuters. While few of us still excited over the removal of toll booth at NPE The Star. Today our Malaysian government gave a shocking news by announcing "the increase of toll price". The toll rates for five highways - North-South Expressway, Sprint Highway, Ampang Elevated Highway, Sungai Besi Highway, New Pantai Expressway - will go up this Sunday (1st of March).

The following are the new rates for the other highways:

Sprint Highway
Pantai toll plaza - Increase 50 sen from RM1.50 to RM2 (↑ 33%)
Damansara toll plaza - Increase 30 sen from RM1 to RM1.30 (↑ 30%)

Ampang Elevated Highway
Increase 50 sen from RM1.50 to RM2 (↑ 33%)

Sungai Besi Highway
Increase 10 sen from RM1.30 to RM1.40 (↑ 7.7%)

New Pantai Expressway
Increase 40 sen from RM1.60 to RM2 (↑ 25%)

You think Malaysians are so dumb? Close one toll plaza and increase price on five other tolls plaza. Remove the toll plaza which is not profitable and increase up to 33% on highly traffic and profitable toll plaza. MALAYSIA BOLEH !!!!

Slumdog Millionaire Wins 8 Oscar

I was about to watch the movie Slumdog Millionaire yesterday but i canceled my plan as i had classes and assignment due. I watched the trailer yesterday morning and i thought to myself that i really have to watch the movie in cinema. As i was searching about Slumdog Millionaire story line i was shocked ad i saw a news on "Slumdog Millionaire Wins 8 Oscar". Yesterday (February 22, 2009) the movie swept away 8 Oscar title's. It received for Best Picture and Best Director, Best Musics (Song), Best Musics Score (Score), Film Editing, Sound Mixing, Cinematography and Writing (Adapted Screenplay).


The story is about two brothers, growing up from the slums, encountering different experiences in their lives, meeting numerous people and making ends meet. One of them manages to enter the famed Who Wants to Be a Millionaire TV show, and it can be said that the whole movie revolves around the 15 questions asked by Anil Kapoor, the default anchor of the show. Each question has a unique story to be told, and it was really fun to watch them unravel.

The movie is also about a journey to discover the hero's lost love, through numerous hardships faced by them, and whether or not they will be reunited will keep us guessing till the very last minute. I really enjoyed the entire story, and our musical maestro AR Rahman has scored the music for this movie, giving the precisely-timed extra punch to the scenes.

Proton Exora - Proton MPV

This is an updated post on the Proton Exora-Protan MPV which i posted last month. The new Proton MPV is given name of Proton Exora based on the name of the Ixora flower, with the tagline “Keriangan Keluarga”.

The new Proton PMV is given name of Proton Exora based on the name of the Ixora flower, with the tagline “Keriangan Keluarga”. Proton MPV will be launched by April 2009. It will be priced under RM 80,000 and will be available in 5 colours - Genetic Silver, Tranquility Black, Blue Haze, Pyrite Brown and Gaia Blue. It will have SRS airbags as standard. Proton Exora will be expected to use Campro CPS engine. The image of Proton Exora is white but its not in the colours provided by Proton.

Billu Barber

I was reading on the new movie review of Shahrukh khan ....opss sorry sorry i mean Datuk Shah Rukh Khan entitled Billu (Billu Barber). The plot of the story is exactly the same as Kuselan (2008) stared by Superstar Rajinikanth. Actually even kuselan was a remake of a Malayalam movie Kadha Parayumbol (2007). Billu has been released in India on Valentines eve (13th of February 2009) but will be released in Malaysia on the 20th of February 2009.

The story line is exactly same with Kuselan where Bilas Rao Pardesi (Irrfan Khan) was living in his village with his wife Bindiya (Lara Dutta) and two great kids. Life was bitter sweet. He experiences a slow down in his business because he fails to adapt to the changing fashion trends. And one fine day a film unit comes to his village with superstar Sahil Khan (Shah Rukh Khan). Billu tells everyone in the village that Sahil is his old friend. Instantly, the villagers take a keen liking to Billu and his life is changed.



Will this ordinary man redefine the words ordinary? Will the words see the greatness behind his small existence? And most of all, Will life ever be the same for Billu Barber again?

This is one part from the movie Kuselan that i really liked.
